The 1955 Lincoln Indianapolis from the Carrozeria Boano, recently and prominently featured at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance will soon be hitting the auction block following an impressive restoration. This unique example of the Jet Age won the Best in Class Custom Postwar Coachwork and was by all accounts a potential choice for the Best in Show.
The beautiful gallery uploaded by RM Auctions showcases a fine example of the Lincoln Crest from the mid-fifties, very similar to the one that could be found on the 1956 Continental Mark II among others.
Although the price has not been revealed by RM Auctions and Sotheby’s, organizers of the event, it will surely spark interest from collectors and connaisseurs alike.
It’s the chance of a lifetime!
